Abstract

Analysis about the racial injury in soccer, explaining the concrete cases of Brazilian players in several places of the world. Through this research, we will study the causes that lead to these recurring events, not only through law, but also historically speaking. Exposing the similarities and differences between racial injury and racism, going through an analysis of crimes against honor initially and bringing the theme to the footballing world. It is also taken into consideration the importance, the role, of the media in face of the situation addressed in the present work. Just like what current legislation is about. Thus, we will analyze certain parameters, brought to question through this work, are being taken into consideration so that there is a better way to deal with situations of this nature. This research takes place through laws, doctrines and electronic articles, aiming to analyze concrete cases in order to reach a conclusion regarding racial injury in football, as well as the consequences of this situation, seeking aspects that can be improved to better deal with and significantly reduce the absurd and reluctant incidence of situations of these often trivial acts, differently from what is morally and legally cherished.
