O estágio supervisionado em Serviço Social e formação profissional: uma reflexão da articulação teoria e prática

Abstract

This project intends to reflect about Social Service‟s Supervised Academic Traineeship. It is taken

as empirical object the Social Service course of ASCES College, highlighting in this process the

professional education and the relation between theory and practice. The research seeks to answer

the following question: What are the challenges faced in the professional education in Social

Service and the difficulties in the roll out of the Traineeship National Politics in Caruaru? Its core

purpose is to comprehend the challenges in the professional education in Social Service and the

difficulty in the roll out of the Traineeship National Politics in Caruaru. Therefore, it seeks to

identify the regional dynamics of the professional education in Social Service, analyze the TNP in

Social Service, the Traineeship National Politics and the statutes that organize the traineeship for

students, as well as analyze the intervention projects and the trainees‟ traineeship reports of the

senior classes of 2013.2 e 2014.2 of ASCES College. In order to handle the proposed goals, the

research is based on two investigation parameters: theoretical and empirical. The survey‟s

population were 24 trainees of the referred course. It was understood that it is in the traineeship

field where the students are able to have a bigger contact with the practice and experience the

investigative and interventive dimensions, also dealing with other professionals of the area. It is

observed that the challenges in the professional education of the social workers are many, and the

Traineeship National Politics consolidation is a process which demands the involvement of all the

participants so that the traineeship in Social Service fulfill the goal of prepare the trainees to make

them capable of executing the techniques observed in practice
